okay i just got KH2 its basically the only one i have never played and for some reason im stuck at one point and its really making me mad since ive beaten all the others i keep getting killed by Xaldin in the beasts castle so does anyone have any tips that i could use ive done almost everything i can think of

What level are you at? Anything specific about when/how/why you're dying?
A big part is always damage mitigation. Are you avoiding his attacks? Double jump does the trick. Reflect the beam attack as well.

I like to sleep on it and try again the next day. Often that's the key when I'm stuck. Still haven't beaten KH2, I got stuck at the timed thing with Demyx where you have to kill all the nobodies. That was a few years ago though.

im level 27 i think and idk i do the double jump and he still manages i die mickey comes out i swap back to sora after a bit and the same thing happens its like a broken record

lol Xaldin XD, My advice...Level up, Level up, Level up, and survive, and use Mickey if he shows up for you.

oh and use mickey to heal sora a little when you can

Level up, if you have the patience. Whenever I get stuck in battle, I level up to the bare minimum and just keep fighting until eventually I strike enough lucky blows in one round to win.

Just grind to level up. You'll win.

LEVEL GRIND! I was level 13 before fighting twilight thorn when I was really obsessed...

He was one of the more difficult ones. Have you found out his patterns? Dodge my friend, dodge. That was one of the few things that worked for me... oh, and fill your form gauge before fighting him too.
