So i've decided to post this in here, as it seems to fit.
A few nights ago i had this dream, that i've never had before. I was in the military, and invading a bunker. The dream was very graphic, and in third person. (most of the time). Now i've had graphic dreams before, so thats no biggie. However, when i woke up the dream impacted me like no other dream i have ever had. It was just so vivid, and real. Waking up i had a wicked strange urge to freak out, like i was just so angry. Also an urge to join the army, i know, that sounds strange, that a dream could make you think like that. I just can't describe the feeling. Now that i think about my future, the military/army/whatever seems to fit perfectly into that.
Now, last night i had the dream again. Except it was a continuation from the last dream. I was actually invading the rest of the bunker or whatever it was. Never have i had a dream leave off, and then pick up again a few nights later.
I just now feel so compelled to join the army. In fact, today i spoke with an old friend of mine who is doing basic training courses for minors. I didn't tell him about the dream.. because i'm not comfortable with that shit. Regardless we talked for a good hour on all the branches of the army and what i could do. I'm seriously considering this, it would be a great opportunity for me.
Have any of you had a dream affect you like this?
Has it ever made you rethink your entire future, and compel you to do something that once sounded completely ridiculous?
