I dont think im really understanding what this thread is really asking here.
Single life can suck and rock at the same time. Depends on what kind of a person you are and what level of commitment you are willing to take to either wait or be with someone. Relationships are absolutely no rushing manner. Get to know the person before you make any major decisions or commitments with the person. I dont even know what you really wanted from this thread so im sort of giving what i think might be. Though i youre celebrating your new status, and separation from your ex then congratulations.

I've never been in a real relationship mostly because there are no gay guys in generic suburban town that I'm not already really close friends and wouldn't date. Also I've never meet someone that I can connect with at the same level. I have even thought of pretending to be straight so I could see if I could ever really have someone who understood me. Obviously it doesn't work because how can I really connect with someone and "go out" if I have no interest in them at all...... So yeah being single sucks.

Single to mingle! I love being single, though eventually I will look for a full time girlfriend who one day I hope I marry :), had so many girlfriends and I've been the best guy I can to all of them but obviously my best isn't enough so I just stopped bothering. If you're looking to move on then good, move on. When you find a guy and you're sure he's the one my only advice is stick to him and don't let him go :) also the guy you were dating is not a 'duche'! He is a douche! Get it right :) haha enjoy the single life for now!!

Haha i think i am as unlucky as one can be when it comes to dating ^^. Imagine you find your soulmate and then he/she friendzones you... Awesome right? Took me 3 years to actually fall for her. Well the girl i had a crush on before her slapped me in the face for "ruining" our friendship by asking her out. I'm sort of dating-disordered right now xD
