Well there's this girl i've known for a year, and by known i mean we said hi in the halls a few times, a few facebook comments, and small interactions. The day school came back in after summer, she ran up and hugged me, and seemed genuinely happy to see me. Her mom was there too, and according to this girl, her mom thought i had pretty eyes. She also often high-fives me whenever she sees me or says hi. i tend to be awkward when these things happen in the halls, so i quietly mumble. Today i switched classes and im in her chemistry class, we had to pick groups for our labs, and she personally asked the teacher if i could join her group. During our lab, we got to talking a bit and she said something that i didnt understand until a few hours later, she was saying random things and then said "you're a paradox of a typical guy." i asked her what she meant but she changed the subject. I'm starting to think she just wants to be friends, but at the same time i really wanna ask her out. I also asked her to homecoming earlier, and she said yes but at the day of homecoming, she told me she decided not to go. If i ask her out and it turns out she just wants to be friends, it'll never be the same between us, so im worried for that.
