Is Acne CERTAIN during puberty?

Everyone I know has either had acne or has acne. According to a load of puberty websites I should have had an outbreak of acne when I was 13. Im almost 16 now. Still no signs. Is it possible that some people will not ever get acne? I'm not that much of a late bloomer. I haven't had chicken pox either.

I also think it depends on the parents cause my parents didnt have a lot when they were younger

im all over the place with that, one day ill be clear, the next ill have a breakout. count yourself lucky man! but you should still wash your face every night and morning.

Yes consider yourself very lucky...I had it when I was in 6th grade till this year, it just pretty much went away within the last few months. Trust me it sucks!

As Rafiki said, some just dont get it. You should be quite thankful that you didnt get any.

Be thankful. I friend of mine is way ahead of me in puberty (I think), and he is worried he will get acne because his brother had it bad. But still no signs of acne on him, so maybe he is lucky too.

Its very possible to get it at a late start. I go to a dermatologist (had acne since I was 13, now its pretty much gone) and she told me that she broke out at age 41. rare but possible. Just count yourself lucky for now.

I don't think everyone gets it. I'm almost 16 and I've never really had acne. Yeah, I've had a pimple now and again, but its usually just one and doesn't happen very often.

Definatly lucky, most will get it and very few get lucky and wont have a single pimple, wouldnt worry at all
