Any one here like NASCAR?

I'm a down home country boy so I've been around cars and NASCAR my whole life so I'm a pretty big fan of NASCAR. And every one in the south "at least where I lived in Tennessee" loves NASCAR. But that doesn't seem to be the story here in Northern Virginia. Every time I ask them it's the same comment "it's just a bunch of cars driving 200 mph in a circle." Most of the people here on VT are either from another country or there city folk. So I'm just wandering if ANY of you darn Yankees here like NASCAR.

Its pretty evenly balanced here in Northern Kentucky. Some people think its the greatest sport ever, others (myself included) subscribe to the idea that it is driving in a circle.

Nah, some people here like to watch it on TV. Personally it's like any other sport to me. Boring to watch. I seriously don't see the point in watching other people in sporting events when you could be doing a sport and having twice the fun and a better benefit.

Eh, NASCAR is ok. I attend their races at the local speedway, but I like Indy Car much more. Faster, and in my opinion, more action.

Yes I do agree GT racing is much more entertaining it's just not as well known as NASCAR "well not here in America any way" In fact it's my lifetime dream to join the FIA GT3 European championships lol But idk If I would want to sit there and watch a race for 24 damn hours though. -____-

Kinda difficult not to like it when both of your parents basically taught you the alphabet and numbers by using the drivers to help with that.
When I was like, three or four, I could tell you the name of the driver, what make the car was, who their primary sponsor was, and the number they had. :P
The season before they switched over to the CoT, I lost interest, but now I love NASCAR again! I go to Daytona at least one race a year. :D

I like Nascar mainly cuz of the crashes....its gone way downhill in the last few years though and has gotten kind of repetive.
