at 15 it can actually be considered against the law. not in all situations, but in many. once you hit puberty, the rules change big time.

My parents have never really been big on spanking. Different stokes for different folks I guess - although I wouldn't personally hit my kids.

It's against the law to spank your kids here, even for discipline. Ridiculous but good. I was spanked a lot before the law came in when I was younger, but they don't anymore.
I'll be honest and say many things hurt more than physical punishment..
