why so long to reply?

On facebook I have been talking a girl from school. We have been messaging each other an she usally takes a few days to reply even though she is on several times a day. I really like her and she always makes me happier and if I think about her (which is all the time) I can't help but to smile at least a little, no matter how bad my mood is. Im starting to think that she doesn't like me and that might think im annoying or that she doesn't want to talk to me. It really brings me down and I don't know why she does it. Why do you think she does this?

Its not like its a very in depth personal conversation though, just casual. (For me at least) there were a few times were we would have about 5-7 messages a day.

Anybody else have any opinion???

Tbh sounds like she is a bit annoyed with you, a girl I know does that to this one guy who she doesn't like.

I may be wrong though, just ask her straight up. You might not like the reply though

I take a while to respond to messages sometimes, and I would be kinda offended (I guess that's the word) if someone asked why I didn't respond right away... but that's just me.

But you can't really assume all people are like you..

Does not being a facebook-whore count? People message me on facebook and I usually take at least a week to reapond, oftentimes more than a month. If you're getting uptight about such a small thing like this, just you wait until you encounter bigger obstacles.

I purposely avoid answering one certain guy for a few days because he likes me in a way I don't like him. But the thing is, I went on a date with this guy, and I decided I didn't like him, so even after I told him this he kept FBing me. But I doubt you're professing your love to her.

Here's an idea:

Ask her something about herself. Maybe you're talking about yourself too much? Ask her a question about a hobby she likes.
