hey guys, so i'm not sure if this should be here but it's about my body and something i think is wrong/bad with it so feel free to move it if necessary:)
anyways, my metabolism is like athlete's metabolism. i burn fat just by sitting, typing this here. is there any foods or something to slow that down a bit? i'm a guy and it's really awkward to be a scrawny, skinny guy compared to the rest of the guys...

This sounds weird, but i wish I had your problem. I am the opposite. I can eat nothing and gain a few pounds. I can exercise and eat healthy while gaining fat. Hmm, interesting how the world works. I am not fat, but just "thick" haha.
Maybe try going to the gym and eating more protein?

If you are looking to change it you can just relax or you can be productive, eat more carbohydrates and proteins so that when your metabolism goes it will convert it into muscle and you can gain muscle instead of burning calories?

I have a similar problem, I also can't put weight on and get a bit jealous of chunky people lol. I'm 6ft and weigh 8.5 stone, very underweight. So much that i went to doc about anxiety and he just wanted to do blood tests to see why I'm losing weight! Unfortunately im scared of needles so hsvent been back since. So I'm also interested in the answer!

This is good advice, try eating more carbohydrates and proteins.

I'm exactly the same way. I'm starting on a new workout and mass gaining diet. 1.5 times the amount you weigh in grams of carbohydrates, the same amount that you weigh for grams of protein and 2/3 ( or a bit less i forget) of fat.
Example:
180 grams carbs,120 grams protein,72 grams fat daily.
Also try to consume 1000 more calories than what your body needs

I'm the same way, I CAN'T gain weight or serious muscle... I'm honestly waiting to see what other people on this thread say because I have the same problem.

Quit eating breakfast and rather have 2 large meals in the day- this should slow down your metabolism while you're awake.

A research work is there that the guys who do their breakfast
are more intelligent than those who don't. Do you know it?
Breakfast is must.
