rectal exam?!

hi. I have to have a physical and it says there will be a rectal exam. (where they put fingers up your butt I think)

Has anyone ever had one, what is it like? This has me freaked out! (but maybe it will be fun hehe)

I know it's a girls only forum but I have never heard of a girl having to get a rectal exam before. I know us guys do to check for prostate cancer and all but I didn't think women had to go through it too.

They can check for certain things in your rectal area and abnormals (sp?) in your vag. I guess. They did it to me and I almost had an O right there. If if feels good, try it you might like it...just sayin....XD!
