Eating Disorders  VT General Hospital
You're right, this doesn't sound like an ED, but your weight and the amount you're eating is not healthy. When my ED was at it's worst I got down too the weight you're at now, I was 6 stone 9lb too, but i'm 5"4 and even I looked ill at that weight.
My suggestion is to talk to a doctor about it. Maybe you can ask your Dad's girlfriend? It sounds like she could be pretty useful :P
Eating so little you're not getting the calories or the nutrients you need and it could potentially end up in life-long problems. Go and see a doctor.

Ok thanks, it's just that my parents think i'm eating fine and there are lots of things going on at the moment, i don't feel like i can tell them. If i tell one then because they are divorced they would both sit me down and talk about it and when we do this i just shut down and end up saying there is nothing wrong and that im fine because they make it seem like such a big deal. As my mum is really over protective which makes it hard for me to talk about anything important as she blows up the situation.

I know the feeling, but if it's just a physical health problems then surly there isn't too much to talk about? I'm fine talking about my physical health it's just my mental health I have problems with. As long as you assure them it's not an eating disorder then there isn't really anything to tell them.
Another thing that's possible, even before I got my eating disorder I used to feel ill when I ate first thing in the morning, and I would throw up. Maybe it's something similar to that, just all the time? The way I got over that was to force myself too eat. My body got used to eating and now i'm fine. Maybe try that and see if it works?

Ok yeah thats a good point. I just feel like if i tell them one thing they're going to over react and start searching for other stuff where they're going to find out all the things i've kept hidden.
I do try and force myself to eat but i just get really light headed and stuff when i finish i don't know if thats what happened to you but i hate it, i just feel like i'm going to black out.

Hmm. How much meat and dairy do you get in your diet? In your first post you said you ate fruits and vegetables, so perhaps you just aren't eating the right foods :/
I'm obviously not an expert in the field, so take my analysis with a grain of salt, but it may be that you keep eating greenstuffs and your body is telling you that you need some more "red" foods. Beef, fish, pork, eggs, chicken, etc. etc. Try a couple of different foods over the next few weeks and see how you react, maybe if you try something a bit more substantial then you wont have such an adverse reaction. It may be that whenever you eat such a light meal, your body's doing some variant of "Gah, this isn't what I need! Get me something better!"

Haha no i did say i had a balanced diet, when i do eat, i have meat nearly everyday and usually a glass of milk or milk with breakfast and a yougart so it's not like I eat unhealthly. its just that i don't feel like eating.

Have you thought that your lack of eating or hunger may be caused by your emotions (i.e stress, depression)?
And Hi Nikki!!!! :D

You say you just don't feel like eating, and I get that feeling too, I'm very rarely 'hungry' as such, but I just eat at set times due to OCD.
However, if I don't eat much all day and go the loo a lot (usually only manage a slice of toast and go the loo a lot in the morning on days when the anxiety's bad, which is nearly everyday) then my guts feel bad and empty by about 5.30pm, and can feel the 'acid' moving around and get gassy and just generally feel ill until I eat something. Not sure I'd call it hunger as I don't really want to eat something, but I know I have to to get rid of that feeling. Don't you get that feeling?
Also, I'm 6ft and weigh about 8.5stone. BMI of about 17....so definitely underweight.

Yes i get the acid in my tummy, it feels horrible but the rest i don't have. I get what you mean about needing to eat but not feeling like it though, i usually eat a little at 11am then wait till i'm back home ay about 6 for dinner.
And my BMI is 16.3 so i'm pretty underweight to.
Last night at about 1am i suddenly got the urge that i wanted to be sick so i sat by the toilet for ages but nothing ever came up, i was thinking about just sticking my fingers down my throat just to feel better, i ended up sleeping on the bathroom floor. my mum said this could be down to not eating but i've never felt it before?

during puberty you'll have times you eat so much you feel like a pig and other times you'll eat so little you wonder if you're taking enough in to sustain life. it's ok! if it becomes a real concern, to you and your dad, ask him to take you to the doc. but from the sound of it, it's just phase. good luck!

I don't want to freak your out but when a person with a healthy diet suddenly looses appetite it's NOT good. I would talk to a doctor because there might be a SERIOUS threat to your health if there is indeed a very sinister cause to your sudden loss in appetite.

:/ I'm pretty sure it's not life threatening, I don't think it's worth going to the doctors for but thanks for suggesting it. I'll be sure to go if it gets worse.
