hard to explain....
they're kind of like tight-fitting underwear (like boxer-briefs but tighter) but with extra padding and support material to protect and support the scrotum and penis area. they're usually made of that sports material, and they're pretty much a cross between underwear and a jockstrap. most people wear them for sports, but you can also wear them every day if you want extra support. i heard they're pretty comfortable.

They are Under Armour's brand name of boxer briefs.

They are like a compression short but not made to hold a cup or padding. They are comfortable but if you have long leg hair they sometimes can irritate that.
