Attracted to my best friend?

I am currently a freshman in high school and I have known my friend since the 7th grade. Since I have known him, I've been attracted to him. I spend a lot of time with him in school but not really outside of school unless we go play hockey or something. This year I have noticed I am even more strongly attracted to him in a sexual and relations way. I always sneak a peak when he bends over or touch him in his back and he seems to enjoy it. He does the Same with me, I have caught him looking at me when I bend over to pick something up. I have not had a girl friend since then and neither had he. I don't want to freak him out and tell him I am attracted to him because I don't want to lose our friendship. I have no idea how to take it or explain it but I know something is going to happen soon. I need some advice.

in this case, I'd probably just let fate run its course. if something was meant to happen, then it will. but if you're really anxious about it, maybe just talk to him in a subtle way like "soooo have you ever been attracted to another guy?" lol

Be careful how you go about it. All my guy friends are pretty open to anything. I wouldnt say I was ever attracted to any of them, but I was always curious to see them naked. Eventually, we were hanging out and we just started talking about masturbation and dared each other to do it together.

I would maybe bring up different topics to feel him out, and see if he is interested. Guys experiment all the time. Do it in a joking way maybe so you dont come across as pushy or weird.
