Do a lot of people out there wear one thing and wear something else for a boyfriend/ girlfriend or a fling?

Like for example a girl who wears mostly boyshorts but wears thongs for their boyfriend or because he likes them better.

Or maybe a guy wearing certain boxers, etc.

How often do things along these lines happen?

I guess some people find it a turn on with different styles of underwear worn on people. I wouldn't like it if my girlfriend was wearing a thong tbh.

I wear boy shorts, and since I have nobody to impress, I will always wear boy shorts. I find them to be more comfortable, and it hides more of the things I'm self conscious about, even if nobody's seeing my underwear.
