I Was wondering, if you put a video of yourself onyoutube would it damage your possible jobs in the future, even if you did delete the videos and channel?

Depends on the content ultimately.
If you delete them it should be ok. Maybe you should check the privacy policy and terms and conditions, you might find that useful.

I mean, even if you delete a video, it is still stored in the massive database, so organisations could in theory request to see them. Although I'm not entirely sure.

Hope this helps.

I think only if you're doing something really harmful then it could affect your job opportunities.

I wouldn't say it should effect your job opportunities, unless your doing something extremely rude/harmful/stupid, i imagine a job employer seeing that would be less than impressed :)

I would be cool to do things similar to Cupofteam, crabstikz or for more mainstream people, smosh. this would help if I wanted to be a comedian and an actor, which I do to some extent but I also want to be an MP :L why can't we live twice?

If your specific info is on it, then maybe but unlike facebook you can hide stuff on youtube

I highly doubt that one video would ruin your rep, especially if its nothing big. It's not like corporations are going to youtube your name
