My Mother

For years now, my mother has always hated me. I'm not one of those people who say that easily. I am always compared to being not the son my brother is. She always tells me that I am a disappointment to her.

Let me tell you a little about me. I'm a nerd, I have a steady relationship with a really special girl... Only her parents hate me because they saw our dirty messages. My mom saw these messages also and thinks even less than me...

One instance of her inconsiderate behavior: I am crying. Sobbing, even. My mother came in, but only said, "Tell me when you stop crying." She just ignored me. I often find myself cutting just because the pain is less on the inside...

I just wanted to vent a bit. If anyone would like to comment on what I should do, feel free to.

Ahh my mom is like that too. I try to ignore it.. it's pretty hard tho. I wouldn't cut tho! You needa quit that D:

You need to look deep inside yourself and find out what makes you an amazing person. I know it must be hard, but your reliance on your mother's opinion of you hasn't helped you. I have recently found that the only person who you absolutely need to love you is yourself. Remember: You are loveable, and obviously your girlfriend seems to think so, too.

You can't control what your mother does, and her being an authoritative figure in your life just makes it that much harder. She seems self-absorbed to me, but that's something you'll have to figure out on your own.

Yep sometimes my mom pick on me alots too ....but we only got one mom so I would just sit down and talk to her and ask her for forgivenss... Just don't cut yourself man.....

Try to get out of the house to vent your feelings, i often find myself going for walks and runs at around 4am after everyone has gone to sleep, its maybe not the safest thing in the world but its extremely relaxing.
