I am christian and love Jesus. I'm almost 15 now and have been dating a girl for a few months now. I told her I'm not going to have sex before I'm married and she was cool with that. Now I really am in love with her and was wondering how far was too far.... Any thoughts???

I think you will know when far is too far. Things have changed a lot since back then, and yeah, kissing is acceptable now. But, hey, I think you know that even if you do have sex, He will accept you. But try to steer away from it.

If by this point, you're still feeling iffy about having sex before you're married, I think that's a sign you'll regret it later. I know there's a lot of pressure to lose your virginity and get it over with but it's pretty apparent that you feel in your heart that you should wait until you're married. Stick with that because that way you won't have room for disappointment and regret after the fact.

The point of sin is where you previously defined a certain boundary and then cross it anyways. Commit to the boundaries you previously held before God. Anything past what you first laid down is probably too far.

I would recommend not having sex since it leads to a riskier life style that has grave consequences.

Set your own limits. Only you know how far is too far. You are doing the right thing with your moral guidelines so do not let anyone tell you otherwise. If a girl wants to break your moral rules, she is not the one for you anyways. Glad to hear she is cool with that, but always remember, you only have one first so do not waste it.

Generally speaking, Christian dating isn't about the body. You should try and spend time away from mutual anything (sex wise) and concentrate upon who you are. There is plenty of time after marriage, and waiting makes it that much sweeter.

follow your conviction. live so tomorrow you'll have no regrets. and remember, tomorrow is never today, but always tomorrow. so really, live today so 5 years from you have no regrets. if your confused about this, i'd suggest speaking with whoever you consider your spiritual leader, whether your youth pastor, dad, or whatever. if you don't have a youth pastor, you can probably contact one, i'll even hook ya up with my youth pastor and talk to them about it. but honestly, you probably won't like their response.

This. Sex is a natural urge and marriage can be potentially a long ways away. Chances are you will have sex before marriage.

i totally agree with that. but any kind of touch with the hands and stuff is toooooo far. yes im a christian too! you can hold her hand and maybe a small kiss but nothing else. you dont need any of that stuff at ur age. people who are strong in their beliefs have the willpower to wait. Plenty of people are virgins til marriage. It come down to self control.

As a Christian, i have to give you some major respect on wanting to wait. A good idea as to where your boundaries are is to always think how you'd feel if a church friend walked in on you two. It ultimately is up to you, but keep in mind: what you do in private should always reflect how you are in public. Keep strong brother!
