Hey everyone. I haven't been on in ages, and I just now remembered something.
For maybe 2 or 3 months now, I've been on the Anti-depressant Prozac. Started out with 10 mg, and now on 20mg's. It's helped with the depression, but it just about knocks me out when my 4th hour class comes around.
All I'm asking for is any tips on how to maybe keep myself more awake? Maybe some of you have experienced the same thing. All suggestions are welcomed!

That would be helpful maybe..the water I mean. I doubt I can drink any Monster in my Biology class. My teacher knows my issue and would probably let me get up and go in the lab to wake up. I'll try that, so thank you, Formido

Oh damn I had the same issue with Prozac. That's partially why I ended up switching to Zoloft (also because Prozac wasn't working too well). I would fall asleep or get very drowsy about 5 hours into the day. Everyone in my Spanish (and my AP Bio) would joke about how I brought a Rockstar to class each day and STILL ended up falling asleep. I found that eating sort of helps and taking the caffeine a couple of hours before the crash period helps. Really, I don't like Prozac a whole lot. Totally knocks me out. Everyone's different though.
Best thing is to get up and walk around. I used to get up and go to the bathroom and wander the hall for a little bit. Careful with the caffeine. I think it did help, but then after it wore off, I'd crash and sleep once I got home. Really bit me in the ass there.

So far Prozac is starting to quit working for me, and yeah. I crash in my Bio and Geometry class. The teacher i have in Bio has a coffee maker in there so maybe coffee..? and Ha, I crash anyways when I get home, or on the bus. Depends. I'll try bringing sugar drinks with me to class, and walk around. She'll let me do that, I mean she is a ADHD teacher. She moves all the time
