should I just give up?

I have been single for at least most of the past year and am starting tovwonder if I should just give up looking for that special someone as every time I tell a girl how I feel I always get told either 'I think youre sweet but I'm not intereste' or 'I just wanna be friends' and honestly I'm short and in my own opinion ugly and so I was wondering should I just forget about it, resign myself to the fact I'm going to die alone and get on with the rest on my life?

Always keep in mind that you are your own worst critic. You will almost always view yourself in a more negative light than most everybody else. As far as being single, I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. In my experience, the more effort you invest in trying to find a partner, the less likely you are to find one. Let life happen and enjoy it while you can.

Remember: you don't need a partner to enjoy life.
