In society we like to classify each other in many different ways, but what I want to ask you is do you even agree to classify humans in the manner of race?

Do you agree with how we classify currently in context of someones race and do you think we are or will encounter more problems with our current system of classifications on race?

Do you think that society should abandon this system and change to another system of racial classification? An example would be the Fitzpatrick scale

Do you agree with how Anthropometry is used in society for social status and placement? Why or why not do you choose this position?

I do agree with classifying by race. I'm not racist. I don't hate other races, I just know that people are different in their own way.

You're implying that racial generalizations (i.e: "All Mexicans ____") are accurate.

Are you going to even attempt to answer my other questions?

I don't think he really means that, but maybe more or less meaning culture. How ever that could also argue in that skin color doesn't have to do with culture either. Take a Japenese man or Chinese. Mexican or Chilean.

But I don't agree with out current race systems like you said. I for one am made up from many different races including Irish,Mexican,German,Spanish,Native American, and black(not sure on the exact roots). How ever, most people classify me as white, my main race that I am is Mexican.

I don't agree that someone's culture should be how they're judged or place in society. Prejudging someone on their skin color and thinking that they're a certain type of person is very stupid in my opinion. My school is very diverse itself, we have black kids who are ghetto and black kids who aren't. We have white kids who are ghetto and some who aren't. We have Mexicans who can't speak Spanish, and I know more Chinese than the 100% Chinese girl in my class. So making a judgement purely on skin is a stupid thing to do.

Never have I ever seen a stereotype and gone by it. I don't think mexicans are gonna steal my money, I don't think black people are gonna rape me, but I know that I am white, and they are black. It's only color, but it's a difference.

I'm sorry I don't know everything about everything.

But, I believe I said that no, I don't believe in changing anything. I think that racism is actually over-rated. I don't think it's a huge problem now a days, and pretty soon it will be gone, in my own opinion.

I wish it was this way, but racism appears to be increasing.

I agree, but it has changed greatly.

You do realize I never said one thing about racism nor implied it?

I do not think that it is fair to slap a social status on a person just because of their race or skin color, simply because that in the end, we are all human. The USA airports have considered racial/religious profiling, where they would mostly stop Arabic and Muslim people, which is, complete bullshit. Only 6% of terrorists are Muslim, yet the media mostly covers attacks by Islamic extremists.

I don't see why racial or ethnic background should play a part in social status, or how much respect a person gets at all.
