So I was wondering when you want to change the color of your txt. Why does it have to be like this => . Some times it messes me up when I am typing something. Why can't you just be able to select the color you want and it just changes to that. Without putting all that writing on the message. It would be faster and possibly we could have a permant color we can use for every post. Then change it if you want too. Thanks for letting me say my ideas to make this site even better :D

Honestly, there's nothing really that hard about the way it works now. Just make sure to type inside the colour tags. Also, I'm not sure if it's even possible to change it?

Thing is about the colours is that there are some that the mods use (eg. red) and then there are some that don't show up on certain themes or are an absolute bugger on the eyes when it comes to which theme people are using. The plain text will work with any theme and that way people can actually see it.

It's not that hard to highlight everything you've typed, select a color and submit your post.

It's HTML coding (I think) and it would require a lot of work to change...

nah, I don't think so. there's a modification for vBulletin that allows members to format their posts so whenever you submit, your post looks like what you want it to be. I remember there was a forum that had that. you could change the font and color of your posts in your UCP and whenever you post it shows up with that font and color you chose. you didn't have to put it in BBCode tags every time you post

but it's not really needed...and as Nathuagyn said, people use different themes and if you use a really dark color and someone uses Forever Blue, it'll be hard for him/her to read your post. same thing with really light ones.

No matter how you change it, there will always be a code beneath it somewhere to make it like that. He's pretty much saying he doesn't want to see the code, just the color. There's a rough version, where you see the codes, and a smooth version, where you just see the text already edited. Some forums have it, others don't. It's still there, though.
