Anything thats played on a pop radio station, really. All the same chord progressions, melodies are just variations of another, percussion lines are IDENTICAL, lyrical content is limited to partying, sex, or lost love. It irks me.

I hate that song to the point where I want to slowly beat Maroon 5 to death with one of their own albums....

If I listen to anything pop gives me an instant splitting headache-_- Therefore, I not only hate the genre but I get some physical pain too.

Anything by Good Charlotte, who in my opinion are the worst band in music history, how that passes as music is beyond me, noise pollution. And pretty much everything released in the last 5 years (with the exception of Kings Of Leon and Adele) I'm a 90's kid.

What exactly do you find attractive in Kings of Leon and Adele that makes them any different from any other pop artist? Or Good Charlotte?

There was a hell of a lot of good music released in the last 5 years. You probably just aren't looking very hard.

Just the fact that they are proper, talented musicians, with genuine song writing ability, and are also incredible live performers. That seems a pretty good enough reason to back up what i said. And if you actually listen to Good Charlotte, i think the answer to your question should have been rather obvious.

I think the fact that i would have to look hard, highlights the fact that proper great music was not very common in the last 5 plus years. I never said there was no good music released, there are a few exceptions ... just not many. It's just my opinion mate.
