So I have a girlfriend and I have a friend I want to excitement with a guy. And I was just wondering if this would be cheating?

while it may not be cheating, if she found out it still wouldn't be a good thing and would be really awkward, so be careful.

I'm guessing excitement means sex? If so, then it would be cheating no matter what gender you do it with.

I think the word you want is experimenting, not exciting. Well, a sexual act with someone other than your bf/gf would be considered cheating, so I'd have to say yes.

Yes, it is cheating. If you want to experiment with someone outside of your relationship you could talk to your significant other about an open relationship. Although you need to realize with an open relationship SHE is free to do things with other people. It's not just you being allowed to mess around with others. This type of relationship isn't for everyone.

It's cheating and look at it this way. In general if we have to split hairs or ask others a moral dilemma, it seems to indicate that we are trying to get away with something and are just looking for other people to give us permission to do what we are thinking about is okay. When in fact we know better. So by questioning it, I'd say you know that it's cheating.
