Ok so I'm getting rid of my blackberry, cause if I don't I'm throwing it against the wall. So with that said, here comes the phones:The HTC Rezound, Samsung Galaxy Nexus or the Droid Razor... So which one which one should I get?:what:

It really depends on what UI you like. I hate TouchWiz, so I'm biased against Samsung. I'd go with the rezound. Beats is pretty sweet, and the Sense UI is really well-done.

Edit: never mind, I misread. Definitely go for the ICS phone. It's sick.

If you want the latest OS then go for the Nexus. But if you like the look of the Razor than get that because it will be getting ICS early next year. i'm not sure if the Rezound will get ICS.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus. BTW most of the dual core phones will get ICS update.

The Droid razor defiantly it is super fast, thin, and its cameras and display are much more HD than the nexus. And it has a truly better design. But overall the iPhone 4s is the best its what i have and its amazing and far better than any other phone available

The Iphone 4s isn't the best phone available. Their are other phones that have bigger screens and their are phones that are thinner as well.

Well i mean sure, there are faster phones out there and thinner, but none designed so greatly. I mean theres none with a better camera, and absolutely ZERO phones with the same amazing software as the iPhone's.

I agree completely.
but none designed so greatly.
I disagree. A certain antenna issue springs to mind, and that's just one of Apple's many design flaws.
I mean theres none with a better camera,
I highly disagree.
The iPhone's camera meets, but certainly does not exceed the current industry standard of 8MP with cell phone cameras. Not to mention there are phones with better flash out there (Xenon/dual LED instead of the single LED the 4s has.)
and absolutely ZERO phones with the same amazing software as the iPhone's.
I actually laughed. the iPhone's software is far from amazing.
It was when the original iPhone was released. Hell, it was revolutionary.
Right now though, I'd be surprised if I found a single bit of software in there that wasn't copied/replicated off of another platform.

The iPhone is a great piece of technology, don't get me wrong.
But to go as far as to say that it's the 'best' phone out there? Come on man. We both know that's bullshit.

Ya no its amazing

1.) They fixed that issue as soon as they noticed it so scratch that

2.) First off who the heck cares about flash? Second, the iPhone 4s has an 8MP camera as well as 1080p HD video recording. Its automatic features in the camera and the cropping, editing, enhancing, focusing, zooming, and other things you can do before and after the shot just on the phone make it a great and easy to use camera.

3.) The software is super easy and seamless when it comes to using it. iCloud (which rocks) is something i haven't seen any other phones introduce, or if they have its not a big deal for them. It allows wireless connection and data transfer between all my computers and its so simple. Apps are so easy to organize and everything is so easy to find unlike other phones. Plus siri is incredible and no other phone can actually have conversations with you or interact intelligently with your other apps

4.) Ya the iPhone is kind of the top smartphone in the world! So many people have one and while other companies like HTC or samsung make multiple phones, Apple just makes 1 and they update it every year (software and design wise). That shows how much people want it

1) They didn't fix it, you have to attach a bumper to your phone. That sorta ruins the clean look of the brushed metal on the sides.

2) Flash mean ALOT in low light situations. Most phones can do 1080p aswell. Most phones have all those listed features aswell.

3) iCloud, oh God. The idea is good, but the iPhone is locked down, so it doesn't work as planned. Say I wanted to upload an encrypted file and view it on my iPhone, will it work? No. How about a FLAC file? No high quality audio files? Nope.

4) Just because people want it, it's good? There's a reason the NSA is working with Google to customize Android to be the new government approved phone. Sooner or later the president will be holding an Android phone in his hand.

Can the iPhone use widgets natively? Nope
Can you do anything without iTunes? Nope
Can you download stuff to the device via the web natively? Nope

The Razr is the best one but you never know with Motorola...(They make really good phones but some of them fail your expectations..) I keep in mind the HTC one even though I would prefer the Razr one (you know checking reviews and stuff about these too)
It has better screen than the 2 others and I think that it's more handy and at the same moment more sci-fi look like:P
I always hated samsung ...damn these guys make either solids or almost dead phones..

1.) You don't need a bumper cause they fixed it! The iPhone 4S is the first phone to intelligently switch between two antennas to transmit and receive, so call quality is better.

2.) Yes the flash is important i guess but thats why they enhanced the optics in the iPhone 4s. It has advanced optics with a custom lens, a larger aperture, and a new sensor meaning amazing photos. It also has improved backside illumination sensor, excellent auto white balance, advanced color accuracy, face detection, and reduced motion blur to make it an amazing camera.

3.) No iCloud is awesome. I mean it has a lot of things you can't do, but thats because Apple didn't want you to do those things, not because it doesn't work right. I mean why would you want an encrypted file on your iPhone? If you did want it on there you would have to of made it in Pages, and then it would work. Also the audio files could get on there... you would just have to put them on iTunes first which you CAN do...unless your like getting illegal music or something. And keep in mind the people using iCloud and iPhones are the ones who have Mac computers or buy everything on iTunes. its just easier.

4.) Yes people wanting makes it good. Have you seen how popular Apple is?? It used to be a joke. But i mean people are smart....they wouldnt want something so bad if it wasn't good. And do you really think if Obama had an Android phone in his hand people would want it. I am pretty sure they would want it less (stupid obama). And the only reason they would make it an official phone is because they have been around longer and there are much more of them... yet people still choose Apples one phone more.

Siri is a feature you forgot to diss...most likely cause it is amazing
An iPhone already comes with a ton of apps that are amazing and handy in every day situations
iTunes is an easy place to get the latest music and movies and TV shows
What on Earth are you trying to download form the web??
And iPhone has protections on it to keep it safe. If you haven't noticed Apple computers don't get viruses and they don't need any extra software to keep it safe like other computers. Thats why Apple keeps everything easy and secure.

I realize I started this, so I'm going to end it. Please, do not reply to this post, talking to an Apple fanboy is harder than talking to a brick wall.
You have your iDevice, fantastic, but to stick it on a pedestal like you're doing and claiming it's the God of all phones and should be worshiped as such, is sad.1.) You don't need a bumper cause they fixed it! The iPhone 4S is the first phone to intelligently switch between two antennas to transmit and receive, so call quality is better.
And yet... call quality on the iPhone is still the worst among smartphones. iPhones are still dropping phone calls as much as McDonalds is selling hamburgers.

Nice copy-pasta there from Apple's site. In reality, it's on-par (Or slightly below-par) with at least 20 other handsets.
And to mention, the iPhone's screen isn't the greatest either. Samsung's Super AMOLED + screen is far superior to the iPhone's.

Ever heard of people in business? You know, the sole reason smart phones were even developed in the first place? They deal with encrypted files day in and day out. For a supposed 'smart phone' to not support something as basic as an encrypted file is absurd. But then again, we already know Apple isn't great with privacy, so it's probably a good thing they're not allowed to touch encrypted files.

Also the audio files could get on there... you would just have to put them on iTunes first which you CAN do...unless your like getting illegal music or something. And keep in mind the people using iCloud and iPhones are the ones who have Mac computers or buy everything on iTunes. its just easier.
In regards to music, you're still tied to a computer using iTunes then. Windows Phone and Android have adopted fantastic models of being computer agnostic. The PC software is there if you want it, but it is in no way required. Apple's model of "YOU MUST USE iTUNES" is horrid. You shouldn't have to jump though unnecessary hoops to do something simple.

Consumers (Note how I didn't say people) are not smart at all. If the ad is flashy, the consumer will buy it, no matter how useless it is (Snuggie anyone?), or how poor of quality it is.
That said, I also hate to shatter your view of the iPhone being on top of the market, it's not even close.
comScore, a company that tracks smartphone market share, recently posted this market share report: http://www.comscore.com/Press_Events/Press_Releases/2011/12/comScore_Reports_November_2011_U.S._Mobile_Subscriber_Market_Share
You'll find that Apple is 4th in hardware marketshare, and 2nd in platform marketshare.
Hardly the 'most popular' device that you think it is.

Siri is a feature you forgot to diss...most likely cause it is amazingSiri isn't even worth mentioning, voice recognition and dictation has been around since before the first iPhone was released. And the ability to hold a conversation with it? Please. It's nice for demos and for 'showing off', but unless you have a shitty social life, that 'feature' (If you can call it one) is utterly useless.
An iPhone already comes with a ton of apps that are amazing and handy in every day situationsOh, you mean the same exact apps that every other smartphone platform comes with? Kay.
iTunes is an easy place to get the latest music and movies and TV showsAs is Zune, and 20+ other online media merchants.
What on Earth are you trying to download form the web??How about a Word document, text document, or Power Point presentation? An Excell spreadsheet? No?
Oh wait, but I can create a propritary document on iWork (Or whatever the hell it is) for my stuff which is entirely useless in the business world! Fantastic!
And iPhone has protections on it to keep it safe. If you haven't noticed Apple computers don't get viruses and they don't need any extra software to keep it safe like other computers. Thats why Apple keeps everything easy and secure.
I giggled, you keep on believing that man.

I realize this post makes it look like I hate the iPhone, I really don't. It's a fantastic piece of technology, and Apple really has done a good job on getting people to buy the thing.
But as I said in my original reply to this thread:
The iPhone is a great piece of technology, don't get me wrong.
But to go as far as to say that it's the 'best' phone out there? Come on man. We both know that's bullshit.
To say that it's the "best" smartphone platform out there is absurd.

Let me swing this to you another way, the 'best' phone out there, is a personal choice.
We can try to debate here back and forth about which phone is better, but when it comes down to it, the only way the OP is really going to know what's best for him, is to go into a store, and try them out. Find out which one 'clicks' with him the best, which one 'fits' with him the best. Then he'll, personally, find out which phone is the 'best'.

Now then, as I said at the begining of this post, do not reply to this in this thread. You may create another thread solely to debate, or PM me about it, but not in this thread.
As of this post we're back on topic on to which phone the OP should get. :P

1.) You don't need a bumper cause they fixed it! The iPhone 4S is the first phone to intelligently switch between two antennas to transmit and receive, so call quality is better.
.

They did /not/ fix it. If apple were to have fixed the iPhone 4 antenna problem they would have had to recall the iPhone 4's, which they did not. Instead they did a cheap "Bandaid" fix of giving people bumpers for their iphone. Afterall, I do believe their CEO at the time blamed the customers and said "You're holding it wrong".

2.) Yes the flash is important i guess but thats why they enhanced the optics in the iPhone 4s. It has advanced optics with a custom lens, a larger aperture, and a new sensor meaning amazing photos. It also has improved backside illumination sensor, excellent auto white balance, advanced color accuracy, face detection, and reduced motion blur to make it an amazing camera..

I will find the link later, but there is an article on PcWorld comparing the abilities of camera's on many phones. The iPhone usually had the second lowest quality of pictures.

And keep in mind the people using iCloud and iPhones are the ones who have Mac computers or buy everything on iTunes. its just easier.

Apple didn't want us to do things? All platforms should be open to use as the customer sees fit, Apple doesn't need to hold a business's hand when they want to encrypt their data or have a secure network. As to "why would you want an encrypted file on your iPhone?" I prefer to have almost all of my data encrypted, I'm so paranoid that I have a VPN set up for my laptop and have the data encrypted. As to the comment about having Mac computers, I have one, it's sitting right next to me, but I don't really use it. I feel it wrong for them to degrade the experience for Windows user's with their own hardware just because they do not wish to pay 1,000 USD for a mac.

4.) Yes people wanting makes it good. Have you seen how popular Apple is?? It used to be a joke. But i mean people are smart....they wouldnt want something so bad if it wasn't good. No, people wanting it doesn't make it good. People wanted to be nazi's, did that mean the Nazi movement was good? In general, people are /not/ smart, hate to burst your bubble. I hardly find a person that can answer this question properly "What is 8 divided by 0?" I do emplore you to look at sales data of Android based phones compared to the iPhone. iPhone has lost it's market domination.

Siri is a feature you forgot to diss...most likely cause it is amazing

I will give them that they were somewhat correct on Siri, but it is a feature that has been around for a while.

An iPhone already comes with a ton of apps that are amazing and handy in every day situations

iTunes is an easy place to get the latest music and movies and TV shows

I don't know, content Apple has blocked? That Apple decided *for* the consumer that they don't want. I also don't like giving one company so much money.

And iPhone has protections on it to keep it safe. If you haven't noticed Apple computers don't get viruses and they don't need any extra software to keep it safe like other computers. Thats why Apple keeps everything easy and secure.

*Facepalming forever* Prime example of an Apple "virus" /"Hack" whatever you like is right here. http://hackaday.com/2011/07/23/apple-laptop-batteries-vulnerable-to-firmware-hack/

This comment is why Mac's are so susceptible to viruses, the owners believe a brand name buys them immunity. Macs are far from immune and many hacking contests (Find as many flaws as you can within a certain time period) are targeted at the Apple platform. Why? Windows ,for example, is targeted every day in the real world, since it is used in corporations. Over time most flaws have been exposed and patched. Mac OSX however isn't normally targeted since there isn't a large enough user base for it to become profitable to target. When Mac OSX is targeted in contests such as these hackers can find upwards of 30 vulnerabilities in a day, comparatively to 3 or 4 a day for Windows.

It's not that Mac is safer, it's that it's /not worth the time/

Siri is a feature you forgot to diss...most likely cause it is amazing

After reading all your other replies I can tell you're a blatant uninformed fanboy and so I will not bother to correct you on all the mistakes you made (basically everything you said) but I will point out this: "Siri" which you praise so highly, was not designed, developed or even thought of by Apple. Siri was created and developed by Nuance, the company that makes the Dragon speech recognition software. Also, Nuance has recently made an Android app which is extremely similar to Siri (and why shouldn't it be, they made it after all) and although it is in very early stage it's already nearly as good as Siri (which took years to fully develop) But really, Siri isn't at all useful in real life, it's a fun little toy to show to your friends once or twice but really, nothing else.
