so, I just shaved my pubes for the first time and was wondering what to expect, in terms of itchyness and how fast they will grow back. Also, do u think its socially acceptable for guys to shave?Do girls/guys perfer it when guys shave?

it won't really be that itch if you shaved correctly and used a balm afterwards, it will take probably upto 2months for hair to grow back how it was, if not longer.. i'm a guy, and i shave.. i just think it looks better, and i also think it looks better on other guys

The first couple times I shaved, it was itchy. After a while, it wasn't. It helped me to put some Vaseline or baby oil on the pubic area. I think it should be socially acceptable, but whether or not it is kind of depends on where you live and who you want to accept you. I have some friends that shave too, some that are indifferent, and some that would find it gay. Just depends. I personally like the look on myself and other guys (im straight but i can admit what looks good on a guy) and I think most girls do as well.

Honestly I just finished growing all my pubes back from my first time shaving them, and it took about 2 months for them to fully grow back. It never itched while they were growing back for me, but a lot of people say it itches a lot.

Shave your balls and trim the rest. I absolutely hate guys whose bush is so big you can hardly see anything

I've only shaved twice but I get a really painfull thing I like to call, cactus dick. I think you know what I mean. Never will I shave ever again. Luckily, cactus dick doesn't last to long, only about three weeks before the bush is back but those are the weeks of pain and suffering.

i have learned that when i shave, i need to use sensitive skin shaving cream and a very good body lotion. when those two are combined, i get no itch!! and yah i prefer shaving, looks better and makes me look bigger ;)

i trim mine and i think most guys trim or shave i dont like shaving because it just feels weird to me. i like a lil hair down there but its all personal opion

expect stubble and the itchies. pubes grow back slow at least mine do.

the socally acceptable part Idk its my body and thats the way I like it.

All I can say is the 2 girls I have had sex with thought it was weird that I shaved my pubes but on the other hand I did not hear them complaining while giving me head or during sex. The guys I've messed around with thought it was hot that I keep myself smooth from the waist down.

I prefer it when guys at least trim, if not shave. It's not like everyone has to know, so social acceptability isn't quite the best way to put it, but it's fine.

Mine don't itch (because I've been regularly shaving for a few years), where I shave no longer gets little red irritated dots, it's now all just smooth and normal skin coloured. Mine grow back fairly quick (a few days they start to grow a little) but I shaved every second day to keep it all nice and smooth, and I have heard from most of the girls I've done stuff with that they love it when a guy is fully shaved down there. The only girls that would prefer hair are ones with a hair fetish or ones that are just bored of the clean shaven feel and look and they just want to mix it up.
