xbox wireless

Ive just got an xbox 360 and I want to put it in my room. Its the new slim version so it has a built in wireless adaptor. It can find my internet but it cannot connect. I have done all of the recommended things and it still dosent work. My internet can be temperamental at times but it still should connect.
Any advice on what i can do?

Try resetting the router.

If your WiFi network is secured, make sure when you are trying to connect, the type of security (EG WPA, WPA2 ect) is on the correct setting. Make sure you have put in the security key (password) correctly (remember that passwords are case sensitive). Finally make sure the network name (SSID) is correct. That should sort put your problem.
