I agree with a previous poster in here. It's a stupid thing, and I'll never own it. And for anyone who questions me as to why, here's my reason.

I don't need one, and my PC is more powerful and more handy than some crappy handheld device; this applies even to my sisters PC which is crap. It's just something not for me.

What a stupid reason. The iPad doesn't try to be a PC nor will it ever. It's a social tablet. Who really gives a fuck about how powerful it is? It plays the games, apps and content created for it perfectly.

Because alot of Medical applications are specifically wrote for iPad. The company i work for uses a program called CRIS which is to do with CT scanning and they have swapped to iPads over the last year. They've saved over £200,000 so far with an efficiency rate of just over 75%.

Don't have one but my parents are thinking of gettin' one. Clearly it's not a laptop, but things I think I'll like about it over my laptop: intstant on, very light, long battery life. I think it's more for consuming media rather than creating, so it's probably pretty good for movies, games, web surf, readin' the news. Not sure how to move movies and songs on it from my laptop. I'm guessing wifi, but don't know.

I don't think it'd be that bad to have one, in all honesty. Far from a necessity, however. I don't really care that there are "better" tablets out there. When it comes down to it, I'd much rather get an iPad over competitions. Why? Cause it gives you some of the advantages of having a Mac (Garage Band for example) without having to buy a Mac.

You move ur movie through iTunes put or change ur movies n songs to Mac compatible
