Hi all,

I'm new here. Basically I'm a 19 year old male virgin who has never masterbated and has no desire for sex at all. I don't think this is normal but is anyone else the same?

Not sure if its related but my foreskin is also very tight and am worried the only way to fix that would be circumcision which I do not want. Am I right in thinking that?

Ive never heard of a teen guy with a low sex drive, but Im sure there are some. And as for the foreskin, try pulling it back in the shower when its warm. Dont go too much at once.

My first assumption was asexual actually. But the reason for the tight foreskin could be because you've never masturbated... Try it! Or just do what senior.2013 said.

Eh. Masturbating may show u what sex is kinda like. But I don't think it will increase your drive. I'm not to into having sex. But I want a relationship. O if you still want a relationship you may have a low sex drive. Its not to abnormal. And I've had an asexual friend. Its nothing bad. When you don't masturbate, your skin tightens. But if you stretch it... Trust me. It will loosen. And u can slowly stretch it. Or see a doctor

I have anxiety and worry about stuff a lot and this is one of the things I really worry about, but only came across this forum yesterday.

The reasons I don't masterbate is because I don't like erections (although i get them very regularly) and I also don't like touching my self, even when I have to to use the loo or whatever.

I know that will seem real weird to most of you though.

After reading that short post on asexuality it does seem like me and I'd never heard of that before. Can't think of any reasons or triggers for it though.

Well the none desire for sex i have seen before and it is kind of me at times so i see no bad in it.
And the foreskin issue i have to but i am not so fussed about curcomstision, I do not want it, But it is ok, But another thing i have heard is stretching the foreskin and then that way it will be OK! :D
But that is what i have been told and not tried it yet as apparently the doctors need to do it and as i am 15 and not good with them things, I have not done it, But seeming as your 19, Maybe you would be ok with it? Tell me how it goes if you do :)

guys, he said he doesn't want to masturbate, and basically 90% of these have been saying to masturbate.

as for your foreskin problem, i suggest stretching it a bit everyday in the shower under warm water.

The issue of your foreskin being too tight is a question for a urologist. There are some correctable medical conditions that deal with this kind of "tough foreskin."

Approximately 1% of the population identifies as "asexual" meaning they really have no desire for sex at all. So yeah, it's unusual since only about 1% of the population identifies that way. But then again, there's 350,000,000 people in the US, so that's 3,500,000 that are asexuals.

But try masturbating.

It's very possible that you're asexual meaning that you have no sex drive. Not common but there are peoPle like that.

As for the foreskin (which I happen to be cut) I imagine some have more skin to pull back then some, and I've actually knew a dude that it was completely closed and unable to pull it back. They say there's more sensation with a foreskin, but there's also hygiene issues I'd think those with a foreskin might need to wash more frequently. If you feel it's a real issue I'd see your doc. As for not wanting to masturbate, it could be your "mood" that's getting into the way of getting off. Forgetting all the psycho-babble, you might be feeling a bit down, which can either cause you to want to get off more or not want to even think about it. I've read some of the responses and most seem to be pretty cool and sincere, but by age 19 I'd hope it's something you'd want to do. It can also be relaxing. I don't think you're "asexual" as that seems to be quite a leap. Hope you feel better dude.

Don't really know what an asexual is till I read it, it is possible. Being cut don't know what to say about the tight foreskin, but agree that seeing a doctor might be something you should think about, if nothing else to see how he recommends to loosen it and if he suggests getting cut, that is YOUR decision, unless it is a medical emergency.
