So. I have a girlfriend (The 3rd is three months together). Everything was fine up until a bunch of drama happened... and then her cat died. Now she's so blunt and sorrowful... not the happy Jill I know her to be. And I seem to do the same, and I feel as If im making the relationship all about me... but I just don't know what to do. Help ;-;

Try to make her feel special. Buy her some gift or something , compliment her a lot , make her feel like she's floating on clouds. I think that she'll forget about the cat in no time

Don't get her a cat! That's what added to her misery. :) Just talk to her and ask her what going on, what's bothering her. She may just want to tell you something and maybe in the end she just misses her cat and she and her fam can decide if they want another one. If you don't ask her what's going on and listen to what she has to say, you can't help her.
Maybe she just needs you to be there and you don't have to "do" anything.

Bring up all the good times she has had with you, and with her friends in general. This will make you look better and it will help pass the time, because she can only be sad before she moves on, so just wait it out.

Eh, I mean if you really want to buy the cat go for it... But I think thats a bit rash. Just be supportive and sweet towards her, bring her someplace nice - girls like that.
