I think im getting blood tests done next week so doctors can prescribe me anti-psychotic mediacation or some shit. I haven't smoked weed for actually 2 weeks until now I've smoked loads fucking too much weed.
Do you think that they will clock I have had weed? Will they be able to find traces of it in my blood?

This is from the California NORML site: http://www.canorml.org/healthfacts/drugtestguide/drugtestdetection.html
In fact, blood tests are not as good as urine tests for detecting THC metabolites. It seems that THC/Metabolites peak in the blood right after use, then taper off after a week. Urine excretion is highly variable. For regular users, it can go anywhere from 2 weeks to several months until THC metabolites are undetectable.

Being a Phlebotomist, I draw these tests myself. We do not always look for the matabolistic differences, we also can look for the opiod differentiation, that is where we can get you, we can trace hair back as long as you haven't cut it. Say this, you take a smoke and then it will grow in your hair for about 3wks and then get it cut.

Also not true, I can trace anything in the bladder lining, because it can be absorbed into the lining of the bladder and when the simple squamous cells flake off into the bladder, which can happen over a few weeks or the next day I can pull a trace and isolate it.
Let's try this, why don't we just stop this nasty habit, as you will find out, you will get caught eventually.

Don't see how opioids and cannabinoids correlate. They are completely different compound classes with completely different structures. Perhaps you are suggesting that you look for THC itself rather than THC-COOH or the hydroxylated THC metabolites (primarily 11-OH-THC)? Hair tests are harder to bypass because hair is far more static than either. Eventually, you end up shedding hair just like you end up shedding epidermal cells.

THC and it's cousins are highly lipophilic. I believe this is why they have affinity for the lining of the bladder (which I believe is largely transitional epithelial tissue rather than squamous... Haven't taken histology yet though). While THC may "stick" to the lining of the bladder, I highly doubt it ends up penetrating the lining of the bladder. A good analogy would be water droplets on the interior of a cup. In general, THC and family will also be very attracted to blood solely because blood is constantly flowing past various locations rich with adipose tissue, where THC is also attracted to.
Furthermore: http://drugstestingbook.com/cannabinoids/cannabinoid-pharmacokinetics/
The article demonstrates that the cutoff is reached in blood plasma by 22 minutes for THC. The THC-COOH (aka THC metabolite...) seems to inch upwards. I suspect that the THC-COOH is what is primarily tested for, regardless of the test. With Oral consumption, the peak is similar but on the scale of hours. THC-COOH seems to accumulate faster in tissue with direct contact to bodily fluids (i.e blood, perfused tissue). All the sources I have seen suggest 2-3 weeks for blood testing. Since accumulation in perfused tissue is more long lasting (but slower progressing), I would suspect a maximum of 2 months in heavy users (consider bladder epithelium as fairly perfused tissue, which I'm not sure if it is -- regardless, tissues seem to retain THC/THC-COOH much better than blood.
I'm not sure whether standard blood tests use chromatography or immunoassay. If it's the former, I would be more cautious. Those GC machines are quite powerful.

... How about: No? Many people don't feel like quitting. Furthermore I find cannabis a much less nasty habit than regular alcohol or tobacco consumption. Drunk people are annoying as hell, and extremely stupid while tobacco smells like excrement and gets people heavily addicted. If you suggest that an individual does neither, that is highly idealistic and unrealistic as humans and drugs have a very intimate relationship -- one that has lasted since our roots and will continue to the extinction of mankind.

Id say that they probably could figure it out BUT doctor-patient confidentiality ftw
