I haven't had wine, but I'll tell you the fanciest bottle we have is 98 Tassinaia.

Aww you dumb American. Come to Wine Country and have some real wine!! :D
We're really spoilt for choice, wine's dirt cheap too. I'm a white fan (Chardonnay & Riesling). Pinot Noir is great too and you really can't go wrong if it's from New Zealand.

Mostly sparkling whites for me, although chardonnay is also great too in NZ. Church road in NZ is a great chardonnay IMO. Deutz NV is also a great sparkly, nice fine bubbles and a fine level of sweetness, much better value than a moet or even a piper heidsieck. Any reds, uggh, I'd rather have a nice cognac or brandy :)

Good old Church Road. Not fussed though, many come close. Riesling and Pinot Noir are nice too. Bubbles... rare. Only when there are littler kids around I guess. White wine with chicken/fish and red with red meat. Beer otherwise, or Baileys <33

Not a big wine fan, prefer beer and spirits. Occasions I will have white or red wine.

Opus One or Silver Oak. My dad has a huge 2-4 foot bottle of Silver Oak that we were saving for my parents anniversary. I like Silver Oak Red wine the best, whenever we go to my Grandparents vineyard in Nappa Valley we always have 2-3 bottles of wine haha :) (but theirs usually 4-5 of us)

France is the home of fine wine, sorry kiwis, just the truth.
White wine is for girlies.
Rich full reds, those are the ones. Rhone wines, Chateau neuf de pape, or rich italian wines like a good Multipulciano or a Barolo. Fuck all your new world stuff :D
