Inserting anything can be dangerous. Ice can still harbour bacteria that could survive when it has melted.

So I'm not sure it's the best idea.

never done it...but out of curiosity I did some research on the internet about it (oh wonders of internet) I won't post any links but basically 1) it's safe and not uncommon 2) just don't put too much at once or you can literally freeze your but 3) round ones are much better than the standard square ones...if using square be careful because they have the pointy bits. I might give it a try if I can get some decent sized/shaped ice lol
