Congrats on your new camera, it's looking nice so far!
My favorites are 2, 5, and 8. Have fun with "Molly". :]
Out of curiosity, are you using manual lens? (you mentioned some photos were shot fully manual) Reason being, I had a Canon T1i with the FD lens adapter and I was able to get some very nice sharp shots.

I'm using the kit lens right now but I do have a FD lens adapter and three FD lenses (a Canon 55mm, Canon 28mm wide-angle and a Vivitar 200mm telephoto with macro capabilities) that are technically my mum's but my grandfather is giving me the same ones (and the bodies) from his Canon FTb and Canon A-1.
I brought in the 28mm wide-angle to the store when I bought it just to make sure the adapter worked and the shots that I took were great. Because they're my mum's though, I haven't used the FD lenses yet. I was shooting using the manual mode on the camera to test out shutter speed and aperture (aka: pressing buttons until photos turned out).
Glad to hear good things about the FD adapter. I figured I'd get one because they're much cheaper than the lenses obviously and buying used manual lenses can be just as good and won't completely drain my bank account.
Photography is an expensive hobby. :P

Thank you! The snowman lights up too and I totally forgot to turn it on. xD
