I hope this is the right place...

I need some advice. Im 14 and about 5ft 5'' and have a high matabolism. Im sort of skinny and would like to get a bit bigger. Does anyone have any tips on how to gain a bit of weight apart from eating lots. Thanks :)

Ive been in the same boat as you for years. Mainly its a good protein rich and balanced diet with 1000 more calorie intake than your body requires. It would also be good to start on a weight training program to help you gain lean muscle mass.

I'd say jump on the protein.

I'm kinda on the same boat - although a lot of my non-muscle mass (aka fat) ends up on my tummy and thighs leaving my arms and lower legs a bit lanky if not for my weight training.

It's probably about time to start thinking weights - when you feel your body's started developing of course. Protein-rich diet is a must and anywhere from 60-100g is ideal. (The more the better but remember your body can only process so much..)

Lastly, plenty of sleep (so your body can grow / heal / recover) and plenty of fluids. You want to be putting on the right weight. Don't rush it because you'll lose it just as fast or shoot up and become a sumo :)

then in 2009
I wanted abs.
EVERYSINGLEDAY! I do 200 sit-ups 150 push-ups
now i have 6 pack abs
then I wanted built shoulders
More pushups!
now I am pretty built
BUT

Peanut Butter.. emulsifier, fat, sugar and sodium. I'd watch overdosing if I were you.

I try to consume at least 300g of pure meat a day. If it's steak dinner or something, sometimes I'd whack up a 450-500g scotch straight. There's iron in meat too ;)

Seriously though. Moderate everything. Pump protein.
