Ok I need to learn how to cook and I don't have much experience so if anyone could give me tips, recipes, or even links for something that's easy to make it would be appreciated.

Depends on what you want to learn to cook...cakes, pies, eggs, meats, fish? If it's anything, I'd start with something simple like eggs. Once you know how to scramble them, you can pretty much learn anything. :P

Well I know how to make different kinds of eggs. I know basic stuff like that but I want to learn to cook a decent meal for myself and others.

Beef curry: (complex but elegant)

1 onion (chopped finely)
1 tbls minced garlic
1 tbls minced ginger root
1 tbls garam masala
1 tbls cumin
1/2 tsp tumeric
600 grams blade steak (deboned)
2 tbls sugar
1 tin tomatoes (chopped)
Salt
2 large potatoes peeled and chopped (do this after step 4)
1 bunch chopped coriander/ dhania (optional)
A large pot to cook in

1.Cut the steak into 3cm cubes and mix with masala, cumin and tumeric in a large bowel
2. Fry the onion in about 3 tbls of cooking oil and a tsp of salt until it gets a sweet smell, stirring constantly
3. Then add the garlic and ginger, stiring rapidly for about 30 seconds
4.Add the spiced meat and stir-fry untill cooked
5. Add tomato and sugar, stir a lot and reduce heat to minimum
6. Stir in potatoes, put the lid on and increase heat another level
7 after about 45 mins it should be done !

If you're completely new, try making pasta. Thats pretty simple.
