Rushed?

So i just had a group of friends over just to hang out for the night becuase there was nothing going on. And theres this girl that was there who ive been talking to a lot lately and i figured something would happen soon but not tonight. But anyways, everything was fine and we were just messing around and flirting becuase everyone was around but once everyone went to leave, she was the last one out. And i went to say goodbye and hugged her and she went to leave but then came back in because she forgot her purse. Then she went to leave again and i hugged her again and she quickely went up and tried to kiss me. It was way to quick and caught me by suprise so it didnt work out and she practically missed. So i just simply said wait come here and tried to give her a better one. Again it was rushed and just didnt seem that good. haha im laughing right now becuase this is the second time this has happened to me. Im not that new to kissing, but a month ago, a different girl made a move on ME, AGAIN, and the kiss wasnt very good again becuase it caught me off guard, at least i think thats why. Anyways im wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.
And was it me? Am i just a bad kisser?
Or is it just becuase the girls just keep catching me off guard and making the move on me?
The weird part is that the girls are always fine after it, and must not think it was bad or something becuase they always continue to talk to me afterwards, and the first time it happened the girl wanted to hook up after it happened. Im not tha6t experienced, so was it me? do i need more practice? In all honestly ive really on kissed about 3 or 4 girls.
