Hitting my sister

I have a sister and I hit her regularly, she is 14 years old and I am 16. She is always coming into my room and annoying me or randomly hugging me. I usually spend a good 5-10 minutes pleading her to leave me be but she wont go away. If mum and dad aren't around I end up hitting her, a smack on the thigh usually gets rid of her. I'm ashamed that I do this but she makes me this horrid person I hate. I should not have to leave my room because she is being a cow and I shouldn't have to hit her. I'm not an abusive person I usually never hit people but she makes me so angry and I lose control. Violence is the only thing that works. Am I a bad brother? I try to be good to her but she drives me to despair.

Yeah they do and they tell her off but she won't stop. If I don't let her play on my computer or do something for her she does this.

I don't see it. She always insults me and is embarrassed by me around her friends. She is always getting at my singing or going on about my sexuality in front of my parents. She was the person who outed me to them. She couldn't keep rumours to herself. Yes I love her, but I also despise and resent her for making my family life bad and getting more attention than me from my father.

Reverse psychology, next time she wants a hug, give her a nice LONGGG hug and tell her how much you love her. Maybe it will creep her out or she will lose interest.

If that doesn't work, you may need to have a harsh talk with her (I'd also explain the reverse psychology part during the discussion).

If your a bad brother than im HORRIBLE sister. Be glad u only have one, i have to deal with 5 cuz im the oldest. They are 2,5,9,11,and13. There as bad as nats, they just dont goo way. I know exactly what you mean. For the most part they leave me alone now because me and my brother got in a fight (physical) and so did my sister when she tried to get in on it for no apparent reason. They lost and never mess with me like that no more because they know ill kick both there asses. I showed dominance. U can really do this cuz ur a boy so i dont know wat u can do.

my sister is exactly the same way but i just threaten to call our parents and she leaves but i wouldnt say hitting your sister is a good thing as long as your not giving her a hard smack across the face or something like that i suggest talking to ur parents about it

Is that bad? Uh, well, yes. I have a 14 year-old sister too, and have not hit her. Whenever she does something like that I usually end up just throwing her over my shoulder and dropping her on the couch in the living room. Don't get that spazzed out that you hit her.

Maybe she enjoys doing it knowing it annoys the hell out of you. Maybe try ignoring her and proving it doesn't bother you and maybe it will stop.
