if they don't know you saw them just quietly get out. after all it's a private thing at least i assume they thot they had privacy unless they were doing it in the living room or something. If they did see you catch them, say "oops. sorry dude" and then walk out. I wouldn't just assume it was okay to join them. If they invite you to that is different I guess but if someone walked in on me I'd be too busy having a heart attack to ask them to join me.

caught friends a couple times, and just said sorry and started to walk out....but they asked me to join and I did....can't count how many times I caught my little brothers (twins 14 now) and most of the time just left, but recently they asked me to join....and as far as my older bro he and I share a room and do it together so catching him isn't really a situation that I worry about since I know he will be doing it some time when I'm around
