I was just wondering how old is too old to join this site? And what if you join before that age, when you turn that age will you be asked to leave or what?

You have to be at least 13 to join. Otherwise, you will be frozen until you are 13.
If you join when you are 20 or older, then you will be banned.
Basically, 13-19 year olds are allowed to register. Hence the name, Virtual Teen.

As far as I know:
You have to be between the ages of 13 and 19 to join this site.
If you join before 13, your account gets frozen. I heard somewhere that once you turn 13, your account gets unfrozen, but I'm not 100% about that.
If you join after 20, your account gets banned and you can't use it anymore.
If you join between the ages of 13 and 19, and then you turn 20, you can still use the site, as you joined while you were a teen.
Hope this helps. :)

Like the people above said the oldest age that you can be to join is 19.

13-19 thus virtual teen. I also read somewhere in the forum that after you turn 20 you can stay as long as you are being a help to members, Not sure if that is true though.

This is indeed true.
You have to be a teenager to join (13-19), but you may stay into your 20s so long as you continue to follow the rules.

Ah, I was wondering what happens when you get to 20 as well......seeing as I've joined up with less than 6 weeks left of being a teen!! :( Its a bit weird learning stuff from people 5 or 6 years younger than me but at least I'm finally finding out stuff (albeit a bit late lol!).

Hmm.. well is this so?
Well I'll tell you one thing, you won't be getting me off here untill the day i die. which is anytime from now to billions and trillions of seconds.
We all feel this way at one point. And you make poke your head in from time to time, but you'll work your way away from it in time.

I actually think it's very stupid that after you turn 18, you can't register. Other teen forums allow parents and adult university students to join. So I don't see why this forum can't have that rule.

when you're 18, 19 you can register. after that you can't
VT doesn't have to follow every other teen forum. it's up to the admins to decide the age limit

Well to be fair, VT is good in allowing people to sign up and then stay on for support if they need it, Although what I think is somewhat silly is the factor people can lie so easily to get on here, but there is no way to easily counter that so theres nothing we can do

Because people here post things they would never want their parents to see.
Also, like Jess said, we aren't like every teen forum.
It is mainly a help site.

Not only that, but most people that join over the age of 19 have....sexual intentions that we wouldn't have this site used for.

There is a reason why this site is called Virtual TEEN
