Idk I have tried it and have used a manual razor. Just be careful to avoid razor burn. Idk if your just trying to trim them though I guess you should be better off to use an electric razor because you don't have to shave them all the way down, you can select the length you want them.

Well to tri, electric, but to shave- manual. It's up to you dude, if your like me you might trim/shave every so often and then realize you actually like having some hair down there.

Both! Use an electric one to take down the bush, then a regular razor to make it nice and smooth :)
