I feel like such a nerd because this was the biggest thing I wanted, but at least I'll actually use it! I'm so excited to be able to use it for all my video editing projects and such. Usually I run out of space on my school computer and server, so now I will have lots of room. And I usually lose the little flashdrives, so I'm glad that I got a big one.

Btw its Seagate 500 gb. Perhaps I should have gone for the 1 tb.

Congrats :) I wouldn't have gone for the Terabyte at the moment, mainly because prices have skyrocketed.

A 1Tb hard drive i bought cost me £50. That was quite a few weeks back for a pre-xmas gift.

:/ I bought a 500gb Verbatim for £50 and a 2tb Western Digital for £125... why must all things decrease in price right after I buy them.

When did you buy it?
and where did you get it from?

Congrats for posting two of the most useless posts in this thread.

Anyway...

I have a Seagate 500g, 2 WD Portable hard drives, and a 2tb WD.. Most of them are filled with music, movies and photos

Hahaha same here, even though i delete most of the movies after watching but still my 1TB is full. I'd buy a new 2TB one but the price is way too high not sure if they'll drop anytime soon. :(
Ugh

I got a Hitachi 500 gb, and i love it!

All my web and graphic projects in one place! For some reason though i cant save files directly to it at school, have to copy/past the files from my school server to the external.

I love portable hard drives, one of the best inventions ever :D I built my own and it only ended up being around $60 for 1tb.
