I'm in 11th grade right now and I really really love this girl. We work together but we barely have classes together. I started taking interest in her since October since being around made me really happy and I also really like her personality and looks. I'm not sure if she likes me or not but we flirt. When we see eachother she gives me this shy smile and looks down, is that a sign she likes me? I want to ask her out before it's too late and she finds someone else. What should I do!??!?!

You should ask her out. You know, the worse thing that could happen is, that she says no. And if you don't ask her out, she'll probably find someone else and you'll never know, if she liked you like you like her.

Really the worst that she can say is no, I'm sure if your good friends it won't change anything after anyway. The shy smile is probably a sign that she likes you:D I honestly think you should go for it I desperately want to ask someone out but don't have the courage and it really is a horrible feeling knowing someone else might be with them:)

A wise man (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/member.php?u=4789) once told me that we have so much more to live for than to be trapped in a relationship. We are young, and frankly, I want to live my life the way I do, not some other person. For now, at least.

But, hey. If you ignore this, and go ahead, who knows. Maybe this could be the woman you marry. These are the choices that scare me. I'm not ready to be locked in for life. Think, this COULD be the very last woman you date.

I don't know, maybe it's JUST me.

You should ask her out, but approach her when she's not in a group of people. I've never dated anybody, but guys tend to ask me out when I'm with my friends which just peeves me off. Tell her that you admire her and have for a long time first before you tell her you want to go out with her. Maybe to the movies. A lot of girls I know get annoyed when guys ask them out and then don't take them anywhere... I hope I helped!
