so, the boys puberty page has like 2000 threads while the girls have like 500ish threads...are men in general more worrisome about their hormones(etc.) than girls?

thanks

To me, it seems like most girls find it's kind of taboo to talk about puberty related things. It's not really their problem, I'd say it's more modern-cultures. It's kind of like how if a guy sleeps with a lot of chicks they're considered studs, but if a girl sleeps with a lot of dudes she's considered a whore.

Yup...

There are simply more male members here.

There are some threads in this forum about girls' questions. In fact, the boys puberty forum has been around for 3 years (as long as the site), and it was the ONLY puberty forum, open to boys and girls.

I think that the reason we get more girls now is because we now have a girls puberty forum that started about 5ish months ago. It's probably because it feels better to know that it's specifically open rather than having a male dominated forum.

Also, guys are more insecure about their bodys etc etc...

ps, there's 130+ threads, not 500

Nope

Its one of the newest actually

1) The boys has been around longer (....well at the time it was just a general pub forum not gender orientated)

2) there are more male members because our main link to the site is on P101 and more boys visit it than girls

3) Yes the majority of the threads in boys pub forum are just the same thing over and over again
mainly penis size

To be honest id say women are more insecure about their bodies, but men worry about their penis more than anything else.

As said above its probably because there are more male members
