View Full Version : Good muscle supporting meal plan for workout days and recovery days?

I'm going to be working out on Monday's Wednesday's and Friday's. (sometimes I will miss a day so I'll just do it every other day, so if I were to miss Wednesday I'd just do it Thursday and the other one on Saturday, so no matter what 3 workouts a week). These workouts I'm doing a very intense. So I'm wanting to cut body fat, while keeping good muscle growth. I need a good diet plan that will help me to cut fat while support muscle growth? My family is going through a tight sport financially so it cant be anything expensive.

Is this a healthy meal for my school lunch? How many calories is this lunch?

Chicken Caesar Salad
1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese
1 table spoon of mozzarella cheese
5 croutons (mini croutons, but they equal 5 regular sized croutons)
5-8 strips of chicken (they say it's grilled, but you can't always trust school lunches, so it's probably not great quality :( )
About 2 tablespoons of Caesar dressing
About a handful of romain lettuce
A pear/apple/fruit (small, which sometimes I don't eat
And 1 chocolate chip cookie (about size of a medium palm) OR one small brownie (aprox. 100-200 calories)
I don't have to eat the sweets either

I have the school lunches every day for 5 days. I have too :/
