So there is this girl I like and Today I gave her an Xmas present and When I got home I saw that she posted on my Facebook wall and said "Thanks beautiful ♥" and then I started chatting with her and she asked "mhmm... wait so whyd you get that for me? i mean... i love it and it was so sweet but im just wondering" and then I told I got gifts for other people also (last day before the Xmas break) but I really didn't get gifts for other people I just said that because I was kinda scared to tell her I like her. and then all of sudden her answers on chat got really short and quick after I would say something. I was wondering if you think she might feel hurt? Because I kind of think she likes me because she always comes up to me and hugs me and always ♥'s and say's Ily on chat. I'm just kind of confused.

In my opinion, in that moment, you have done the right thing, because even if you wanted her to know you like her, the Facebook chat isn't the place to tell her.
It certainly looks like she nourishes some special feeling for you. Maybe you should try and be honest with her about it or, at least, hinting that you like her.

i would have told her or i'd tell her now how you feel. who doesn't like to hear that you like them? I'd tell her the truth and if the truth is that you got it for her cuz you like her, that's fine.

Then she'll wonder or ask you mean like-like? and you could answer: maybe :)

She probably wanted to feel special and by telling her you got stuff for others, she feels less special. Don't forget that her answers could have been short cuz she was distracted with fam or friends or was just busy

Talk to her about it. Ask her what she's expecting. Talk.
