And Linkin Park used to be good. Then they went down the shitter.
What she said^. I'm not going to lie, I used to enjoy a lot of their stuff, but they change way too much.

Oh and your name rings a bell.....and your signature does too.....

Salty Semen agrees with me, apparently. After Meteora they just started sucking. I love Hybrid Theory and Meteora though.

I guess most people agree that their earlier stuff is better than the newer but my favorite album is minutes to midnight.

Who can rock a rhyme like this?

Yeah, like pretty much everyone else, I loved Hybrid Theory and Meteora. After that they have gone farther and farther from nu-metal/rapcore. It's not that they've gotten worse, just evolved the sound.

I used to be a massive fan and i saw them at Manchester MEN. But as i have got into heavier music they have got lighter so im starting to not like them anymore

Tbh Nu-metal (papa roach, S.O.A.D, linkin park, slipknot) has been a trainwreck for years. Linkin park did have the initiative to get off that wreck before it crashed them. Unfortunately bands like papa roach did not and now they are going down hill big style

Most nu-metal bands evolved their sound when they saw the downfall of their genre coming, and are now respectable alt-metal bands. I think the lone band that didn't is Limp, who are still making the same music as they were in '98.

I totally agree. Bands are evolving all the time but what the bands dont realise is that the majority of bands go back to their roots in the end. Like Korn for example:

They went from nu-metal to less nu stuff then back again. And now their entering dubstep metal

I agree that most bands do eventually realize what's best for them is what they started as, but Korn isn't exactly a great example of that. In my opinion, Korn III was a pretty weak album with all the "getting back to our roots" hype it had surrounding it.

Very very good band, don't spend enough time listening to them as i wish. I would not go as far as to say they are one of my favorites, but i would much rather hear their music flood the airways, as compared to the regurgitated collections of crap they consistently play on radio/music channels. Much respect for the band, big fan of Chester Bennington's vocal ability also.
