What does it mean when you post a message and it says "This message is Moderated"?

Because I posted something on someone account and it got put up, but then above my comment it said that.

Until you get 250 posts, whenever you leave a VM (visitor message) for someone, a moderator will have to approve it. Just so people don't abuse it. :)
