Erase the photos,
avert the eyes,
avoid the face
that I despise.
Scrub it clean,
wipe it off,
scrape it up,
I've had enough.
Never pretty,
never thin,
it doesn't matter
what is within.
Finished crying,
swollen and red,
look in my eyes-
you'll see I'm dead.
