Well, there's a guy in my class that' a.. what you call them? A brain. And people consider me one too. (I'm a straigt A's kind of guy). BUT, when a teacher asks him a question, he answers in like one second and he understands things WAY faster than I do, and when I ask the teacher a questtion HE answers. And teachers go by HIS speed of understanding, if HE understands it (And not the others) they just continue to another subject. And i'm feeling like i'm falling behind. Especially in math. I've found myself doing what i've never done before: look for tutoring and asking other people about stuff, when usually people ask ME.

I may say, it's not that I don't understand, it's that the teacher really don't care as long as HE understands.. The teachers have this preference with him. They pick HIM for everything, leader of the class, class president and even student of the month (for 5 moths in a row!), not aknowledging that there are other people that they can consider. For projects, everyone wants to be with HIM, and I get all the "leftovers" (the kids that don't care about school and the flunks) and I end up doing ALL the work. And everytime I ask him about something he says "Carlos, this is easy! I can't believe you don't understand!" So, I feel like i'm falling back and i'm not giving my 100% ... And stangely, I get better grades that him.. O_o .. But no one really cares..

To tell you the truth.. I'm a little jealous.
Sorry for this long explanaition... What do you think I should do?

I would have a talk with your teachers. Ask them to move a little slower to give everyone a chance to get a hold on what's being taught.
If its not just you then the teacher should listen or else they're not doing their job right. In that case you might want to consult someone of higher state such as the principal to make sure you get the attention you need and it's not all just around him
There's nothing wrong with the fact that you take a bit longer to answer or understand stuff either. Everyone moves at different paces.
