I'm a 16 year old teen guy. And I'm kinda hairy. My legs are pretty hairy. But not as hairy as others at my school. My butt is hairy and my pubes are very hairy. I'm growing a happy trail and I have small baby black hairs all over my body. I'm starting to grow armpit hair and I am worried I have small back hairs, I don't know cause I can't see back their. When I look in the mirror I don't see any but still. My family is going to the beach in May and they have never seen me with body hair. The last time we went I shaved my legs cause I was worried. I know I know, I shouldn't be embarrassed but I am.

I'm straight but extremely curious. I look at other guys around my age and the leg hair they have I envy. Because its kinda blonde/dark, up close you can really see the hair, but far away you think they shave. Whereas my leg hair is black. I know when I wear shorts my family is going to be VERY shocked. What can I do?

I also look at guys with muscular legs/calves, with black leg hair and they look good, cause its so muscular. I want to get more muscular legs/calves. But how?

I do Nike Training Club on my iPhone 4 (it's for women, but I feel the burn so it works, I also feel the soreness the next day) and I do the "Leg Sculptore". But theirs nothing for calves.

Also, you know when bodybuilders have those leg muscles show. How do you do that? I don't want it hardcore showing, but a little bit won't hurt. (it's like you see 2 different muscles in the legs, how can I get that for myself?)

I have the same problem. Its genetics, so its either shaving or letting it stay that way.

Ouch! But I guess that works.

This may sound retarded but try dyeing your body hair blond, so then it won't look so obvious. In the sun, it will be almost invisible.

Don't shave it because it will come back longer and darker. As you and your friends start to mature they will catch up with hairy legs. You may be more hairy naturally, but it is nothing to be ashamed of.

As far as work out goes, that is another thing that will come with age. As you get older and keep working out your legs, you will see better result.

dont shave it. let them be shocked. lol. they have to realize u r growing up and that its natural.. so just dont say anything about it (: i'd do the same. and i was embarrassed about my hair too.. im more hairy then most of other guys in my school.. but i dont care.. if they ask ill just tell them that when they mature, they will have it too. right now they can be jealous. and shaving ur legs is kinda gayish.. uhh. :S nothing wrong with hair on guys. lol

dont shave

when family see act like its normal[and it is]

for leg muscles you need to be born so you can make them extra visible but run and cycle as much as you can try running for i mile and then touch muscles-hard as rock belive me
i can give pic if its allowed

As people said, you could ignore it because its natural and theres nothing wrong with it. You could also trim it. Trimming I mean with an electric trimmer. Dont shave because that will only cause it to come back in thicker.

For the muscles I suggest running/jogging. You could also try biking/cycling. Even going to local nature trails and hiking can be a good work on the legs.

No it doesn't. I'm pretty sure you were the one in another thread I had to tell this to before.

In my opinion, leg hair is a completely natural part of the male body so it should nit shock your family that you have hair on your legs.

If you're sixteen the chances are your voice has changed, i.e become deeper, yes? If so every time you speak you are advertising the fact that you are sexually mature - that you are getting towards the end of puberty, will have an adult sized penis and be able to ejaculate.

Body hair is another secondary sexual characteristic, just another thing that says you are sexually mature. No-one is going to be surprised by it, certainly not your family, because they can't seriously think you are little boy still.

I'd just leave the hair. You want to become comfortable being yourself as it is better for you in the long run than worrying about whether you measure up to celebrities on TV or pictures in a magazine.
